Abstract

Southeast Sulawesi's NTP in November 2021 was recorded at 100.82 or decreased by 0.02 percent compared to the previous month which was recorded at 100.84.
The decrease in NTP was due to the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) which decreased by 0.02 percent, lower than the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) which increased by 0.001 percent.
Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) is the ratio of the price index received by farmers (It) to the index of price paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is one indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the terms of trade of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs.
The NTP of each subsector is listed as follows: Food Crops Subsector (NTPP) 97.46; Horticulture Subsector (NTPH) 112.21; People's Plantation Plant Subsector (NTPR) 99.34; Livestock Subsector (NTPT) 104.72 and Fisheries Subsector (NTNP) 104.45. Meanwhile, the National NTP Index was 107.18, an increase of 0.49 percent from the previous 106.67.
