Abstract

  • Southeast Sulawesi NTP in February 2021 was recorded at 96.64 or decreased by 0.37 percent compared to the previous month which was recorded at 97.00. NTP of each sub-sector is listed as follows: Food Crops Subsector (NTPP) 97.17; Horticulture Subsector (NTPH) 103.54; People's Plantation Crops Subsector (NTPR) 92.28; Animal Husbandry Subsector (NTPT) 105.10 and Fisheries Subsector (NTNP) 100.41. Meanwhile, the National NTP Index was 103.10 or decreased by 0.15 percent from the previous 103.26.
  • In February 2021, nationally 12 provinces experienced an increase in NTP, while 22 other provinces experienced a decrease in NTP. The highest increase was recorded in the Province of South Sumatra, amounting to 2.02 percent, while the largest decrease was recorded in West Papua Province at 1.20 percent.
  • In February 2021, Southeast Sulawesi experienced rural inflation of 0.16 percent. This occurred due to an increase in the price index in the food, beverage and tobacco sub-group by 0.16 percent; the clothing and footwear sub-group by 0.19 percent; the housing, water, electricity and household fuel sub-group by 0.15 percent; the equipment, equipment and household routine maintenance sub-group by 0.38 percent; the health sub-group by 0.07 percent; the transportation sub-group by 0.12 percent; the information, communication and financial services sub-group by 0.05 percent; the recreation, sports and culture sub-group by 0.27 percent; the education group by 0.00 percent; the food and beverage / restaurant supply sub-group by 0.11 percent; and the personal care and other services sub-group by 0.13 percent.
  • The Exchange Rate of Agricultural Household Businesses (NTUP) in Southeast Sulawesi Province in February 2021 was 96.11 or decreased by 0.76 percent compared to NTUP in January of 96.85.
