IBS Production Growth Up 20.57 Percent And Imk Up 40.11 Percent In First Quarter Of 2018

Abstract

Growth of Large and Medium Manufacturing Industry Production in Q1 / 2018 increased by 20.57 percent (y-on-y) in Q1 / 2017. The increase was mainly due to the increase of Food Industry production by 21.32 percent.
The Production Growth of Large and Medium Manufacturing Industry (IBS) in the first quarter of 2018 increased by 5.15 percent (q-to-q) to the fourth quarter of 2017. This increase was due to Contribution from Wood, Wood and Cork Products (Excluding Furniture ) and Woven Goods from Bamboo, Rattan and the like by 22.98 percent.
Production Growth of Micro and Small Manufacturing Industry (IMK) in the first quarter of 2018 increased by 40.11 percent (y-on-y) against the first quarter of 2017. The increase was mainly due to the increase of Food Industry 61.69 percent, Chemicals 52.39 percent, and Furniture Industry 28.85 percent. While the types of industries that experienced a decrease in production were Repair and Equipment Installation Services and Equipment 50.97 percent, Other Processing Industry 30.05 percent, and Other Transport Equipment Industries 19.88 percent.
Production Growth of Micro and Small Manufacturing Industry (IMK) in the first quarter of 2018 increased by 8.87 percent (q-to-q) to the fourth quarter of 2017. The largest types of industrial production experienced were Textile Industry 29.89 percent, Other Transportation 22.31 percent, and Industrial Metal Goods, Not Mesils and Equipment 20.18 percent. While the types of industries that experienced a decline in production is the Other Processing Industry 10.96 percent and Food Industry 9.26 percent.
