The Results of Census Economic Registration 2016 (SE2016) Recorded as Many as 285.49 Thousand Businesses / Non-Agricultural Enterprises in the Province of Southeast Sulawesi

Abstract

The 2016 Economic Census Registration (SE2016) enrollment shows 285,486 non-agricultural enterprises / enterprises in Southeast Sulawesi Province which are grouped into 15 categories of business fields in accordance with the Indonesian Business Classification Classification (KBLI) 2015. The number has increased 43.83 percent compared to the results Economic Census 2006 (SE06), amounting to 198,484 businesses / companies. If differentiated according to business scale, 282,618 businesses / companies (99.00 percent) small scale business (MSE) and 2,868 businesses / companies (1.00 percent) scale Medium Enterprises (UMB).
Number of businesses / companies by business field, dominated by large trading and retail business as much as 143,383 businesses / companies or 50.22 percent of all businesses / companies in Southeast Sulawesi Province.
Number of manpower according to business field, in line with the number of businesses / companies that is dominated by trade and wholesale trade as much as 231,090 workers or 36.93 percent of the workforce in Southeast Sulawesi Province.
