Deflation in Kendari City in September 2016, was recorded at 0.01 percent in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) 121.65. Nationally from 82 cities that calculates inflation, twenty-four cities recorded deflation and fifty-eight cities recorded inflation. The highest deflation was recorded in Pontianak (Kalimantan Timur) 1.06 percent and the lowest deflation was recorded in Kendari (Sulawesi Tenggara Province 0.01 percent.
