Abstract

  • The NTP index of Southeast Sulawesi in September 2013 was 105.22, an increase of 0.50 percent compared to the previous month. The NTP Index of each sub-sector was recorded as follows: Food Crops Sub-sector (NTP-P) 81.86; Horticulture Subsector (NTP-H) 116,55; Subsector of Smallholder Plantation (NTP-Pr) 123,84; Livestock Subsector (NTP-Pt) 88,52; and Fisheries Sub-sector (NTP-Pi) 109,98. While the National NTP Index of 104.56 or rose by 0.23
  • In September 2013, nationally 26 provinces experienced an increase in the NTP Index and 6 other provinces decreased. The highest increase was recorded in West Papua Province by 1.02 percent. While the largest decline recorded in North Sulawesi Province of 0.97 percent. Southeast Sulawesi province is in the eighth position of NTP Index
  • In September 2013, the rural consumer price index in Southeast Sulawesi declined by 0.05 percent. This happens because of the decline in the price index in the food consumption group by 0.49 percent.
