Abstract

  • In December 2012, NTP of each sub-sector in Southeast Sulawesi was recorded as follows: Food Crops Sub-sector (NTP-P) 85,51; Horticultural Subsector (NTP-H) 118.65; Subsector of Smallholder Plantation (NTP-R) 123,40; Livestock Subsector (NTP-Pt) 89.89 and Fisheries Sub-sector (NTP-Pi) 108,74. Where the NTP of Southeast Sulawesi was recorded at 106.23 or decreased 0.04 percent compared to the previous month, or ranked eighteen national NTP decline. While the National NTP of 105.87 or rose by 0.14 percent.
  • In December 2012, 14 provinces experienced an increase in NTP. While the other 18 provinces decreased NTP. The highest increase of NTP occurred in Banten Province which amounted to 1.12 percent. While the largest NTP decline occurred in West Kalimantan Province of 1.08 percent.
  • In December 2012, the rural consumer price index changes in Southeast Sulawesi rose by 0.70 percent. This is due to an increase in price index changes in all consumption groups, namely the foodstuff category of 1.05 percent; food so 0.31 percent; housing 0.38 percent; 0.12 percent clothing; health 0.53 percent; education, recreation and sports 0.10 percent; and transportation and communication 0.01 percent.
