Abstract

  • In April 2012, NTP of each sub-sector in Southeast Sulawesi was recorded as follows: Food Crops Sub-sector (NTP-P) 85.96; Horticultural Subsector (NTP-H) 122,10; Subsector of Smallholder Plantation (NTP-R) 122,28; Livestock Subsector (NTP-Pt) 90.60 and Fisheries Sub-sector (NTP-Pi) 107.76. Where the NTP of Southeast Sulawesi was recorded at 106.30 or decreased by 0.20 percent compared to the previous month, or was ranked number twenty-one nationally. While the National NTP of 104.71 or up by 0.03 percent.
  • In April 2012, 13 provinces experienced an increase in NTP, while 19 other provinces experienced a decrease in NTP. The highest increase of NTP occurred in East Java Province of 0.67 percent. While the largest decrease in NTP occurred in West Java Province of 0.60 percent.
  • In April 2012, the rural consumer price index in Southeast Sulawesi increased by 0.44 percent. This is due to an increase in the price index in all groups, namely the foodstuff category of 0.56 percent; food so 0.11 percent; housing 0.72 percent; clothing 0.51 percent; health 0.05 percent; education, recreation 0.07 percent; and transport and communications group price index 0.10 percent.
