Abstract

  • In February 2012, NTP of each sub-sector in Southeast Sulawesi was recorded as follows: Food Crops Sub-sector (NTP-P) 86,52; Horticultural Subsector (NTP-H) 122,03; Subsector of Smallholder Plantation (NTP-R) 121,63; Livestock Subsector (NTP-Pt) 91.08 and Fisheries Sub-sector (NTP-Pi) 106,94. Where the Southeast Sulawesi NTP recorded 106.11 or decreased 0.56 percent over the previous month, or ranked at number twenty-three nationally. While the National NTP of 105.10 or decreased by 0.60 percent.
  • In February 2012, 10 provinces experienced an increase in NTP, while the other 22 provinces experienced a decrease in NTP. The highest increase in NTP occurred in South Sumatra Province at 1.13 percent. Meanwhile, the largest decrease of NTP occurred in East Java Province is 1.39 percent.
  • In February 2012, the rural consumer price index in Southeast Sulawesi increased by 0.46 percent. This is due to an increase in the price index in all groups, namely the food price index of 1.51 percent; food so 0.44 percent; housing 0.44 percent; 0.22 percent clothing; health 0.60 percent; education, recreation 0.62 percent; and transport and communications group price index 0.10
