Southeast Sulawesi's export value in December 2010 was US $ 17.10 million, down 81.87% from the previous month

Abstract

Southeast Sulawesi's export value in December 2010 was US $ 17.10 million or a decrease of 81.87 percent compared to November 2010's export of US $ 94.34 million. Meanwhile, export volume in December 2010 was recorded at 807.64 thousand tons or an increase of 7.42 percent compared to November 2010 export of 751,83 thousand tons.
Export value in December 2010 was dominated by commodity group of metal ore, slag and ash of US $ 17.02 million (99.53 percent) and the rest of fish and shrimp commodity group, as well as export volume dominated by metal ore commodity group, slag and ash that was recorded 807.63 thousand tons (99.99 percent) and the rest of the fish and shrimp commodity groups.
In December 2010 there were three export destination countries, namely China, Australia and Hongkong. China with the largest volume of 754.44 thousand tons (93.40%) or US $ 16.48 million (96.37%), then Australia with a volume of 53.19 thousand tons (6.59%) or worth US $ 0.54 million (3.16%) and the rest of Hong Kong's destination.
Southeast Sulawesi's largest export through Kendari port with volume of 553.45 thousand tons (68.52%) with value of US $ 12.19 (71.29%) then Pomalaa port with volume of 254.18 thousand tons (31.47 %) with a value of US $ 4.87 (28.48%) and the rest from Bau-Bau port.
Southeast Sulawesi's total exports in 2010 reached 7 587.15 thousand tons or US $ 541.54 million.
In December 2010, Southeast Sulawesi recorded import activities of 1.13 thousand tons or US $ 0.60 million
