Abstract

Southeast Sulawesi's export value in June 2010 was US $ 2.29 million or a sharp decline of 97.90 percent compared to May 2010's export of US $ 109.16 million. Meanwhile, export volume in June 2010 was recorded at 99.31 thousand tons or decreased by 90.26 percent compared to May 2010 export of 1 019.91 thousand tons.
Export value in June 2010 was dominated by metal ore, slag and ash commodity which was 96.51 percent, the rest of fish and shrimp commodity group, as well as export volume dominated by metal ore, slag and ash group which was recorded 99, 98 percent, the rest from groups of fish and shrimp commodities.
In June 2010 there were two export destination countries, namely China and Hongkong. China's largest destination country with 99.29 thousand tons (99.98%) or US $ 2.21 million (96.51%), and the rest of Hong Kong destination.
Southeast Sulawesi's largest export through Kendari port with volume of 99.29 thousand tons (99.98%) with a value of US $ 2.24 (97.82%) and the rest through Bau-Bau port.
Total Southeast Sulawesi exports during 2010 reached 2 747,73 thousand tons or US $ 209.83 million.
In June 2010, Southeast Sulawesi did not import.
