Abstract

Southeast Sulawesi's export value in April 2010 was US $ 3.20 million or a sharp decline of 99.96 percent compared to March 2010 exports of US $ 68.17 million. Meanwhile, export volume in April 2010 was recorded at 0.20 thousand tons or decreased sharply by 95.31 percent compared to exports in March 2010 of 487.67 thousand tons.

The export value in April 2010 was dominated by metal ore, slag and ash, which was 69.69 percent followed by Tobacco and tobacco commodities group which was recorded at 28.13 percent, as export volume was dominated by metal ore, slag and ash commodity group recorded 75.00 percent, followed by Tobacco and tobacco commodity groups totaling 20.00 percent of Southeast Sulawesi's total exports.
In April 2010 there were two export destination countries, namely China and Hongkong. China with the largest volume of 0.19 thousand tons (95.00%) or US $ 3.13 million (97.81%), followed by Hong Kong with a volume of 0.01 thousand tons (5.00%) or worth US $ 0.07 million (2.19%).
Southeast Sulawesi's largest export through Kendari port with volume of 0.20 thousand tons (95.24%) with the remaining US $ 3.15 (98.44%) through BauBau port.
Total Southeast Sulawesi exports during 2010 reached 1 475.72 thousand tons or US $ 98.39 million.
In April 2010, Southeast Sulawesi did not import.
