Abstract

Inflation of Kendari City in June 2009 was -0.87 percent
Decrease in foodstuff group price index -2.36 percent.
The increase in the price index of the finished food, beverage, cigarette & tobacco group by 0.39 percent.
Decline in the price index in the housing, water, electricity, gas & fuel group -0.60 percent.
Decline in the index of clothing group prices -0.24 percent.
Increase in price index The health group 1.38 percent.
The increase in the index of education, recreation and sports group by -0.52 percent
Decline in transport group prices, communications & financial services -0.77 percent
The inflation rate of Kendari City in calendar year 2009 was 2.64 percent and inflation "year on year" was 6.81 percent (CPI June 2009 compared to June 2008 CPI).
National inflation portrait in June 2009 was recorded at 0.11 percent. Of the 66 cities that calculated CPI, 47 cities reflected Inflation and 19 cities reflected deflation. the highest inflation occurred in Tarakan City 1.44 percent and the largest deflation occurred in Ambon City -2.70 percent.
